Meet Kate
Hey, I'm Kate. A Freo girl living life a little differently.
Right now I'm based in Hoi An, Vietnam with my two daughters, giving them the kind of adventure-filled childhood that memories are made of. Before that it was Mexico. Before that, a corporate career that just didn't feel like me anymore.
So I did what any slightly chaotic free spirit would do, I started a pyjama brand. 🌙
Why Bamboo?
I've always loved how bamboo fabric feels. Impossibly soft, breathable, like wearing a cloud. But honestly? I love it even more now.
I'm in perimenopause, and like a lot of women my age, sleep had become my nemesis. Night sweats, restless nights, waking up uncomfortable. Bamboo changed that for me. It's naturally thermal regulating, moisture-wicking, and genuinely the kindest fabric against your skin.
So when I say these pyjamas will change your sleep, I'm not just saying it. I live it.
Our Story
Kip & Boo was born from a simple frustration: why was it so hard to find sleepwear that was both beautiful AND actually comfortable?
I wanted pyjamas I could wear from a Zoom call to a morning coffee run without looking like I'd just rolled out of bed (even if I had). Something soft enough to sleep in, stylish enough to live in, and made from fabric that actually does something good for your body and the planet.
When I couldn't find them, I made them.
Oh, and the name? Kip is slang for sleep. Boo is short for bamboo. The whole brand in two little words. 🌙

Kip & Boo is proudly Australian, our stock is based in Western Australia and every print is designed in collaboration with talented Aussie artists. No matter where I am in the world, this brand will always have its roots in the place I call home.
